Ras - el - Hanout - Spice Blend

Ras el Hanout is a versatile and beautifully fragrant North African spice blend commonly used in the Moroccan cuisine. Whether used as a grill rub, fish seasoning or as the foundation for tagines, this aromatic mix is worth the investment and effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp dry ginger powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 Tbsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp all spice powder
  • ½ tsp mace powder javitri
  • tsp nutmeg powder jaifel
  • tsp green cardamom powder freshly ground
  • ¾ tsp fennel seeds powder
  • ½ tsp clove powder
  • ¾ tsp star anis powder
  • ½ tsp dry fenugreek powdered
  • 2 bay leaves powdered
  • 1 tsp rose petals powdered
  • 1 tsp lavender powdered

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the spices and store in an airtight jar.
